Black Futures Program at UBC

Black students in Grade 11 and 12 are invited to participate in the Black Futures program at the University of British Columbia (UBC). This program aims to facilitate access to higher education for Black students who may not have considered university as an option or who may not have envisioned post-secondary as part of their academic trajectory. The program also aims to open post-secondary horizons for the next-generation youth.
Participants will engage in information sessions, lectures and teamwork activities with UBC students and faculty as well as with other high school peers from school districts across the lower mainland including Abbotsford, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, and Surrey.
All costs (including transportation) associated with participating in this program will be assumed by UBC. Student may also be eligible for credit for their CLC course.
